About
Jennifer Moore is a metalsmith and educator. She is currently the Exhibition Director, Studio and Program Manager at the Baltimore Jewelry Center. She received her MFA in Jewelry and Metals from San Diego State University and a BA in Art History from UC Berkeley. She has worked in varied areas of the jewelry industry including owning a brick and mortar retail business, cataloguing and appraising estate jewelry for the San Rafael Auction Gallery. Her work uses the format of historic jewelry and Victorian optical toys to explore the tension between perception and understanding, and how that plays out in the physical space between bodies. Her work has been exhibited and published both nationally and internationally including: Galerie Marzee, Netherlands, Tincal Lab, NYCJW, and Metalsmith Magazine.
